Lifes First Bloom

Our First Update

I wanted to talk about life’s first bloom, and about Tartarus as a whole. We will go incrementally. Over time it will take shape. Without patience, it may never succeed.

That is the drama underneath it. Existence precedes essence: the place is not born already meaning what it will mean. It appears first as a bare fact, a dark, an unfinished room, and only afterward does it acquire a nature. Tartarus does not begin as a world. It begins as the decision to keep returning. The bloom is not a revelation waiting in the seed. It is what happens if the work is endured long enough for a shape to be claimed.

So the risk is not only failure of craft. It is that existence can outlast intention. A site may stand for years and still have no essence, only the evidence that someone once meant to give it one. Patience is the interval in which a mere place becomes a world. Impatience leaves it as what it first was: something that exists, and nothing more.
